3-Way Switching in Ladder Logic – Part 2

Hey Controls Champions!

Welcome back for another video. Today we’re talking about controlling a single thing (output, state, etc) from multiple places using a house wiring example: 3-Way Switches. We use these all the time to turn lights on/off from either end of a hall or room, and automation systems frequently have similar needs. For example, an operator may need to enable/disable brakes to perform manual adjustments, and that may need to happen from both sides of a machine. Hi

Just subscribed to your Youtube channel and have found the videos very helpful. I’ve got the hang of the sequencing and the 3 way switching.

What would the ladder look like if you wanted both switches to be positive to turn the light on, and any other combination would mean the light was off?

Any info or pointers would be appreciated!

    Kind Regards
